What parts of RNT do you think will be the big threats againts...

What parts of RNT do you think will be the big threats againts real estate agents?

When I click "For Landlords" on their website there are a few headings.

• List your rental property for FREE - see my posts above about this aspect.
• RentQuote - this would seem to be facilitating professional real-estate agent management.
• RentReport - these are not unique and are available from a number of other providers. At $9.95 perhaps they are a better value proposition though.
• RentCheck - Again, not something unique to rent.com.au but perhaps cheaper.
• Find a Property Manager - facilitating professional real-estate agent management.
• Tips and Advice for Landlords - Not unique in my opinion
• Home Loans - Additional commission stream but unlikely to be a reason to visit rent.com.au I would think.

I personally think the biggest market to 'disrupt' is indeed be the landlord and private rental management one. Just get the feel that with rent.com.au they are trying to do all sorts of things but don't appear to be hugely focussing on that area.


Perhaps I am mistaken but the recent announcements etc seemed to be primarily focused on traffic to their website, users, listings etc.
