    Whether mjlw is a real estate agent or someone else, I don't think it really makes any difference.

    Not getting as many enquires through RNT listings as oppose to REA/Domain would totally be expected. To suggest otherwise would be irrational. Both REA and domain have been around for years. RNT has had it's UV's grow only really the last few months. Growth takes time.  To use the level of current enquires as the basis for dismissing RNT's potential isn't wise

    Marketing is set to start early next year. The fact is that the majority of people probably are unaware of RNT, but the true test into it's future will be the growth it experiences (whether good or bad) after a decent amount of time and marketing has been completed.

    In regards to their strategy towards making profits. From my understanding, this has been their strategy all along.
    - Build up the foundation of the business (infrastructure, strong management, technology)
    - Offer free listings and target niche markets
    - Build up user base through marketing
    - Once RNT is seen as a necessity (increased enquires), introduce change in fee structure

    Their strategy is exactly what it needs to be. You can't increase the profits without increasing the user base first. You can't increase the user base without marketing

    RNT is exactly where it needs to be.

    If in a years time mjlw, your agency is still getting the same amount of enquires through RNT after all the marketing, then fair enough. Come back and say "I told you so".

    This is a long term stock though, proper expectations are needed. Lets all hope it turns into the monster it has the potential to be.
