Would love some thoughts on Nearmap vs Pointerra - and perhaps a future collobaration (merger/TO)
Nearmap:
- 2D precise mapping
- physical data server
Pointerra:
- 3D mapping technology (point cloud)
- Data as a service (Daas)
The way i see it, costs in maintaining Pointerra will be significantly lower whilst giving users the benefit of an extra dimension.
If Nearmap's current MC is around $130 million, then surely giving Pointerra the exposure over time may lead to a similar marketcap?
note: Including raising and acquisition shares (excluding performance shares) equates to around ~380 million shares on issue, meaning a conservative share price of around 20-25c for $100 million market cap
Potential 10 bagger from here in the medium term imo
