A SOBER MOMENT
I have seen posts on a Canadian stock forum asking people to look at HotCopper DGR for news of Solg and Cascabel. That also goes for one London stock forum Solg as essentially Solg is London listed and a sub of DGR, Australia. One poster mentioned it as well.
After all the discussions on HotCopper on the subject matter of "Takeover" of Solg or rather ENSA who holds the licence for Cascabel [85% by Solgold], perhaps the keen expositions of the value to be attributable as opposed to the other figures expounded, has lead to a sober moment.
Right now, as of this date, there are a few posts in a London Solg share forum that takes in that the "right price" that Mr Nicholas Mather has stated to be necessary to "consider a takeover bid" for Solg may not be met. Since no where else in Canada or London was this topic so hotly discussed, it appears that readers or rather Solg shareholders in London have taken this in.
From reading, I conclude that they do not feel that Mr Mather is not nuanced in price. As said in the case of a UK potash explorer and soon to be developer, the price paid was fair value. It was many times over the real market price. I think all in London financial circles are aware of "fair value" as per M & A.
The figures expounded are of those of the norm of the bell curve and not a study of mega takeovers of very large world renowed projects. We already discussed the Oyu Tolgoi equivalent figures of the major investment without takeover premium. On those figures, we have consensus of 3 posters on HC ie Ganz, Waiken and myself since Solg themselves likens it to Oyu Tolgoi in their announcements and presentations.

Whilst the more recent article takes in a bit of change, that may be due to the new drilling to 2,800 depth or not. However, this is not a sticking point as once drilling announcements are out, we may get more comment.
May I also say that the figures given by Solg may not be demmed to be "rubbery" as described on this forum. Why? The original figure was 10billion tonnes of mineralised rock at %. Then with Hole 17 known and the delay in the Maiden Resource Statement, it was then later said that it is over 10 billion tonnes of mineralised rock for Alpala-Moran. In one article of days ago, it was said that it is 10 billion bonnes o;f ore. There is no conflict. Until the proposed t e s t drill targets are DRILLED, it cannot be said the model is X amount. So they appear to be keeping it "constant" at the modelling for now which is 10 billion tonnes of mineralised rock/ore.
I think there are a few HC posters who are investors of Solg itself as well as DGR and it is best to read what London shareholders are saying. In essence, they are discussing what if the "right price" wanted by Nicholas Mather is not forthcoming.
One shareholder in London [or rather UK] wants the govt of that country in Cascabel to step in to take up the slack in pricing.
So, this is the sober moment after reading the expositions here possibly. After all, HC DGR was the place to read all about Solg recently.
Lots of news is passing through.ti
It has been mentioned that some of my links dont work etc by one participant. May I say that I opened one Twitter link and it did not work. Sometimes, the post has been removed and refiled. In those cases, one has to take the title. After all, what is free, one has to make an effort to then merely type in the title given. I notice that one does not even need the name of the publisher or date but I give title, publisher and date. I then that has fulfilled any requirement.
On London stock forums, links sometimes dont work either.
I think that provides the state of play. Stock market motto:Expect the unexpected.
I have not edited this post so again, it is qualified by potential, may, appears and capital at risk. I am not providing links as I have done so on what Nicholas Mather has said so there is no need to go over old ground.
My opinion: We await development and news from the co ie Solg, sub of DGR Global of Australia. It is their project and the decision of the board etc. They know best all the rules etc. I am confident that the decision will lie solely with them and then shareholders who will vote or not to pass through their recommendations.
