rennis... thats exactly the case... during economy downturn, overseas holidays will always be the ones to go first from spendings... i personally has friends working as travel agents in melbourne city... she said business gone down like 20% early last year and from september onwards (when ppl are booking for their december holidays) business went down around 30-40% compare to the same time last year...
worse still of what had happened to bangkok (airport case) and bali (drug & terrorist cases) aussies' fav travel places... also the warnings given by federal government... fearing many who wants to travel overseas...
noomx... for long term, i think flt is just average... sure it isnt affected by the curret turmoil as they has lots of cash and sure it is cheap compare to 2 years ago... but can they sustain their earnings?
im not a sheep... didnt start as one either... up around 2700% in my portfolio since first investing in 2003 ;]
