profitmann I did read with interest, your post at the time regarding acquisitions, or more the point the lack of them, and I agree with your most recent post.
Chapman did say on a consistent basis that they were looking for organic growth, but nothing ever eventuated. There is no question in my mind that we are in a very vulnerable position at this point in time, I mean going from a hunter to the hunted.
Low market cap, almost zero debt, strong order book, all the work has been done to make us an attractive add-on for any takeover. The fact we don't have an appointed successor to replace Chapman doesn't auger well for confidence, because in my view the longer Chapman remains in his position, the less kudos we receive in the market place, and the more exposed we become.
I acknowledge the BOM need to get it right with his replacement, but Chapman should be shown the door immediately, they have made experienced appointments to monitor the review process, one of those gentlemen should be handed the baton as a night watchman, get some investor confidence back into the company as quickly as possible.
WDS has had a good reputation in their field of expertise, the previous couple of years results confirm that (providing they were accurate of course ), lets hope the review process is quick, accurate, methodical before we become shark bait.
