It seems like they are more focused on the actual IoT accessibility and connectivity modules and chipset which allows manufacturer's product to be connect onto their cellular network then onto their database.
They seem to do backend and telemetry services like Buddy as well. I think it's data management only applies to customers that use their modules.
I don't think it is as flexible and scalable as Buddy connects directly through cloud-hosted application program interfaces(I'm not too familiar with API but it seems to be running on most apps /websites /devices, believe it's programming protocols and codes).
Also with Buddy, the customers are able to visualize the data, already tabulated in a way that they can use instead of just codes, through big business operation software such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and a few others.
