Sorry but you are wrong. The company only has to release information to the market if that information has not already been released and is likely to have an impact upon the share price. if the posters at the conference were a rehash of past information (as kippax was also suggesting)or they contained information that is unlikely to affect the share price (up or down) then the company does not have to release anything.
