Got a copy of radio Rush 96.1fm transcript from 5pm broadcast yesterday:
I find it interesting that PWC are saying that MNQ haven't secured funding but not sure how a bank would offer the financing until such time MNQ offer becomes unconditional. Its up to the creditors now.
: Yukon Zinc Creditor Whitehorse News Story
Creditors of Yukon Zinc met in Whitehorse today. (monday)
Those who provided goods and services to the Wolverine Mine in eastern Yukon, and who weren't paid before the company went into creditor protection had the chance to hear about Yukon Zinc's restructuring plan.
The company provided the opportunity for local creditors to ask questions before Wednesday's vote on whether or not those owed money will accept the plan.
The feeling in the room, was one where creditors didn't support the plan, because of costs. One contractor walked out of the room, after he suggested the mine be sold.
Creditors also asked about a conditional offer from Australian miner MinQuest, who would move to the front of the line to purchase Wolverine if the offer is rejected.
The monitor, Pricewaterhousecoopers says MinQuest want to buy the mine, but haven’t secured financing.
