I could be the only one on this thread who has driven electric buses. I can tell you, it's trying to cope with technology in its infancy. Driving during daylight hours with all the lights off to preserve energy, long charging times, buses only able to do short distance shuttle services. Fast exceleration though, because no gear changes. It's like handling a brick mobile phone from 1996.
