I don't know what's going on. But the way I read the announcement was they have some big players that have indicated they want to invest in the logistics side of the business. If I can have a go at speculation: these big players are already in the logistics business. They could care less about perimeter intrusion, access control, data center protection, and conveyor belt management. So, let them have what they want. AVA dilutes its overall ownership of the logistics business, but the value of that business increases with new capital and partnerships.

Crackpot seems to be assuming that AVA's plan is to sell the IVL business for less than it is worth, in order to punish shareholders. We should consider the alternative: that the board and management are acting rationally, and see an opportunity to build value.
