Well said Paydirt. I also have grave concerns about a Labor policy to remove imputed credits from dividends. This effects BOQ FF dividends like every company paying FF divvys but not directly. It also effects every person's superannuation balance in the country as imputed credits will no longer be credited to superannuation balances therefore reducing the effectiveness of superannuation going forwards-is my understanding. This will effect EVERY worker paying into superannuation across the country. I'm amazed there's such little outcry about this change in policy and I think the reason for it, is that most people don't understand it. But make no mistake it will save the Federal govt billions per year and make it that much harder for everyday workers to accrue enough wealth to retire on and therefore become dependent on Federal govt handouts-the very reason super was created in the first place! This won't effect the super wealthy as they will find another way to enhance their wealth. This is just another way of eroding the little guy's opportunity of becoming self sufficient in retirement and a backwards policy in my opinion that every person should be outraged about....
