Hahaha, nice scenario from Markiemills. That's maybe the private equity playbook but there are so many ways to play it - as mentioned depends on our Singaporean friend.
He may choose to buy 20% then just wait it out, or underwrite a raising increasing his stake or takeover.
Speculating on takeovers is not what I do, because of they don't turn up you are left carrying the can.
Though I picked up a few as a punt I think sitting it out is probs best until/if earnings come right. Depends on your risk return preference really.
