I have a hunch too...that given the entire sector Li pulldown since January that many if not most remaining vested in the majors are doing so preferring paper losses to crystallising those losses (sure sounds that way when you visit the threads...plenty of peeved Li holders out there.
Sooooo....thinking that when they start seeing the green shoots coming through again (driven by various foreseeable news events and hedge fund reassessments) that many of those holders are going to be looking for the next big upside play with really strong FA...and despite the zealot "downies" swamping our board (and there is no comparison to the flack holders here cop on a daily basis even against the 2 and 3rd most shorted stocks on the ASX namely my two favourite Li producers ORE/GXY...it doesn't get much bigger than this now does it in terms of undervalued and upside potential?
You know size/quality/stip ratio/explorer status/mining agenda/superior product suitability for next gen battery tech/massive expansion capability/near virgin surface resource etc. etc.
Just a hunch though...
