SYR now is the most shorted stock on ASX in percentage term. It looks to be quite a good company for me - (1) have only 345m shares when already got to the stage of producing and positive cash flow - a indicator of good management; (2) low cost and largest deposits in the world; and (3) a good hedge if the trade war to get worse because China produces 75% of the world graphite.
I just do not understand why this stock is so heavily shorted. Any explanations would be highly appreciated.
