I think this is the most likely option.Can't work out what that will do to markets. Since most expect it, probably lots priced in.
Rate rise, you're expecting markets to go down.
But dovish commentary, you'd expect markets to go up.
I wonder if the decisive factor will just be the removal of uncertainty. People hate uncertainty. The little bounces each day on the Dow suggest that people are keen not to miss out on any rally.
