possibilities

There certainly are numerous possibilities here and I have enjoyed reading everyones speculations/thoughts.

Ian Davies (Senex MD) has made the following comment which for me gives me the impression that Senex will fight for these assets.

"My intentions are to create value for our shareholders," Mr Davies said."At the end of the day we see some value in the assets, we know the management team, they're our neighbours."All of their assets interlink with, or are, ours."

While he is seemingly downplaying the value of the assets, they would know better than anyone who an Acer Energy share is worth.

On top of this, Senex has three times more cash than DLS so I do not think they are just topping up with a few shares just for the sake of it.
