Venetia Diamond Mine

Opened in 1992, the Venetia Diamond Mine is located in the Venetia Limpopo Nature Reserve, close to the town of Alldays, in the Limpopo Province.

The mine is one of De Beers' six diamond-mining operations in the country, and is the largest producer of diamonds in South Africa. It has been excavated to a depth of 450 metres.
