The last Aussie explorer/developer that got onto a decent gold deposit in west Africa was Papillon that got taken out by B2 Gold for a decent price. That's always the best outcome for shareholders because it ups the price and you can take the money instead of risking the orphan (low share price) period until production. But it's all in the timing!
