ilyas. Where do you get the data for the total shorts? I use the below link for daily shorts but can't see where to access the total number. My spreadsheet shows that 41.5 % of the volume since 06 October 2014 has been short sales, which I'm picking is a exceptionally high number. Good luck shorter's, you will likely need it. S/hr since 2001.
