Maxi,
Yeah saw that, very impressive end grade. Will fetch an attractive premium in price no doubt. The transparency of Lithium pricing is very poor, without a central trading desk.
So hard to say how much of a premium, but with Spod LCE ramping up and not being very suitable for some markets due to iron content. It could be substantial.
Substantial enough to cover the additional processing costs - Lesser Lithium content of Petalite, more processing for comparable quantity of end product. Plus extra mining and transportation costs incurred? Well, it just might come close!
Therefore, the next boxes to be ticked are mine economics. Vertical lying pegmatite, pro's and con's to that. Does start to run quite deep though, and resource size. Plenty of drilling going on, if they can get it up past 20mt, it's really looking viable.
Does anyone know where they may end up processing this ore? End goal I realise is to do it onsite, but in the interim. Are there any offtake processing capabilities within Europe? I've only really heard of the Chinese.
Long term, a processing capacity onsite in Portugal combined with additional supply coming in from the Swedish tenements, should they prove up also. Well DKO would be off to the races.
Will Take a lot of Capex and a few more boxes to tick first to get there, but it's looking good at this stage.
AIM listing is a must IMO, even with the name change, Aussies will be slow on the uptake here. Once bitten twice shy. Not the company's fault, just the way the chips landed.
