1) Capital loss is directly related to entry price. Therefore one's "suffer[ing]" is another's entry point.

Reply : ...provided the price does not drop further after one enters at a lower price than I have,...

2) On another equity I'm on the loss side and am considering doubling down to better my yield.

Reply : ...provided the price doesn't drop further AND the dividend payout doesn't get reduced.
