The successful bidder for the port upgrade is expected to be announced on March 20, 2014 with financial closure with the winner by June 30, 2014. Construction is due to commence in early 2014 but going by these dates, mid to late 2014 is more realistic. There is an 18 month construction period which would mean works would be finished towards the end of 2015.
