It is big for S32 also - the guys making the decision and the blokes on the board have lots of others nipping at their heals - in fact it is characteristic of large successful companies for every manager to groom his replacement.
Should this deal prove to be a costly mistake (IMO it won't be) then S32 heads might roll.
Recall what happened when RIO bought RIV. But these take overs/JVs are the bread and butter of the majors - they are very good at it.
