    oldtimer, fair call.
I've owned this for years, yet I feel they are now very close to establishing a 'space tracking' business, in partnership with Lockheed, who can also use the same data for defence purposes. What gives me hope is the mention in the annual stating the eos space tracking tech had been accepted as a contributing sensor for the USAF Space Surveillance. Given they lead the world in tracking debris, which has now been qualified by the US Defence, obviously the IP they have is state of the art. Why would Lockheed form a 50/50 JV with a $40 milion Aust company, if they could do it themselves. My thinking is the Defence guys obviously view it as first class, WHICH can also offer the commercial satillite guys, benefit.
I think there has to be serious money in commercial tracking, yet the issue has always been the funding. Now that Lockheed/US AF are happy to fund for their need, this opens the commercial window for eos. I would love to know how this all works, but if you step back and consider the US Space sector is happy with it, and the commercial satellite guys are crying out for it, there has to be money in this business, given no-one can currently offer the service?
What would TLS pay say, to reduce the likelihood of one of their communication satellites being distroyed? They likely pay huge dollars to insure these satellites, that if damaged could take years to be re-deployed?
Has to be money in it.
