If management chose to pull back on growth and focus on only profits in the short term I think they could tomorrow. Sack staff, reduce office space and focus only on incremental growth and a tiny profit margin, this could be achieved now. I prefer moderate growth, management are pursuing faster growth for this they need to keep the extra staff.
