Thanks for that fishoMC. I came to that conclusion late yesterday after looking at some other maps. So we know that the nature reserve extension does not affect MDX. As per my previous post, the Aboriginal Heritage report I found may be the key to understanding what the issue is that's caused the delay in the permit. I did a quick search on the DIA site using the report ID and it does not give the contents, so emailed DIA to see if they can send me a copy (not sure if it's public domain info). I'll let the forum know when I get a response to my email.

If I can get the report and it is the one that relates to MDX's current application then we will hopefully know whether the holdup is serious or not
