OIP is flying well under the radar and has been left out in the cold as far as it has not even been mentioned during this whole phase of the ESG/STO dance..
It does seem a bit strange seeing as ESG hold over 20% and also significantly have earned up to 75% CSG interest in some of the tenements in which they are operator..
The market at the moment says that OIP really hasn't got much going for it and effectively seeing as most of the exploration to date has focused on CSG then it stands to reason that the value of OIP's CSG is largely locked away somewhere in the value of ESG..hard to quantify and if it could be quantified would go some way to determining a re-rating of the OIP..
Could the directors of ESG launch a takeover of OIP with cash?? that would be interesting
The fact that STO effectively get this 40-75% of CSG rights plus the 20% of OIP is something that needs to be explored in terms of the overall t/o equation.
I sold out of this many moons ago but still hold a handful just to stay in the loop..
