The article below is very positive in the sense that any gas exploration/drilling in the Wasambo Gas Fields would be for the LNG Plant.
On page 23 of the AR it states that "approx 202.6 BCF of reserves in our Kampung Baru Gas Field will be required to meet the gas demand from PLN under the Gas Supply Agreement and the Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement from when the Sengkang Power Plant is upgraded to 315 MW to the end of the current Sengkang PPA in September 2022. The balance of the recoverable gas volumes in the Kampung Field are therefore classified as contingent resources." That's only a figure of approx 2.8bcf left in that field.
Hence the fact that therefore all gas found in the Wasambo Gas fields will be for the LNG Plant.
The fact that they have approval to drill these fields and are now doing just that, is the best news we could have in relation to the LNG Plant moving forward.
New Gas Exploration Target EEES 800 BSCF

Sengkang - Energy Equity epic Sengkang (EEES) began the acquisition of 2D seismic (testing of gas content in the earth's crust) along 178 km with target prospects and leads that are scattered throughout the area Block Sengkang.
It is estimated, gas resources can be obtained from the results of exploration activities amounted to 800 Billion Feet Standard Kubic (BSCF), equivalent to 145 billion barrels of oil equivalent (MBOF) which will be followed by exploration drilling.
Area prospects and leads with 178 km length of the track is divided into East Area Penrang Walanga District, Subdistrict Salubulo Sajoanging, Tosora Majauleng District, District Pammana and Kerosene District Two Boccoe of Bone.
"Exploration activities are prepared to find new gas reserves primarily for gas supply LNG Plant phase 2 which provide 1 million tonnes per annum (MPTA) Liquid Gas," said Arif EEES Seismic Project manager Fathkurokhman at the Test Parameter Survey siesmic 2 D block Sengkang District Wajo-Bone, in the Village District Lawesso Penrang, Sunday (01/27/2013).
He said the gas was first produced by the Kampung Baru gas field in October 1997. Approval of Plan of Development / POD) Kampung Baru approved by BPPKA / Pertamina in 1995 were marked by drilling three production wells and the construction of gas processing unit.

Stage of development of this plan will be earmarked for LNG (0.5 MPTA) who need supplies 70 mmscfd in the first phase and will be developed further in the second phase with a total of 1 MPTA pengintalan LNG Plant which is located 19 km north-east of Field Gas Walanga.
"Gas Field Development and Bonge Walanga Sampisampi consists of drilling as many as six production wells, 19 km long pipeline, gas processing unit, compressor and metering unit designed to produce 70 MMSCFD," he said.
