Just for clarity, these are the reasons why I think the document originated in the US.
1. The numerous reference to source's being "Company filing's";
2. The words "Capitilization", "Organization” which are in the US form using a “z” instead of an “s”;
3. The writer constantly uses AUD throughout the document. Whilst its use in tables is not unusual, it is unusual to have it everywhere if the document had been written by an Australian about an Australian company;
4. There are references to interest rates, described as x% ARP, which stands for Annual Percentage Rate, which is something common in the US. We generally use p.a – per annum;
5. The date on the Bloomberg chart is in the American format of M/D/Y, instead of D/M/Y.
So some of these things alone are not unusual, maybe the US date was default or the spelling was auto-corrected, but as a whole, I get the sense that this was not a locally written document.
As for the name “checkmate”, sounds to me like someone is trying to drop CCP in it and get the last laugh.
But of course, this is all speculation.
