    For EVs to go mainstream,

They would need an additional add on battery the weight of a spare tyre, so a passing motorist could offer to lend their spare to get the stopped car going to the next charge point.

The Batteries would need to be sealed so caould handle being submerged etc.

Charging 10 million cars at once, while everyones Aircon, fridge and hot water unit is running is not possible IMO.

The only Company on the ASX capable to time shift power supply to meet peak demand is 1414 degrees, ASX code 14D.

They claim to have the tech to stabalise Grid peak demands, and if they 14D prove it in the next few weeks they could set off to a 10 bag run.

Cars would need a full solar surface, roof and all glass etc, the only Company on the ASX showing the possble tech to do this is CPV Clearvue Glass. But the watts per sqm is too weak to run a car, the radio and TV inside mabe.

EVs have a long road to improve to do what a diesel SUV can do.
