ev's have become a game changer already in some countries. Norway over 50% ev's or hybrids. Here in Oz we're way behind the 8 ball due to different reasons. Agree that batteries are the limiting factor at the moment but there's a heap of dollars being thrown at development so give it a few years and watch this space. I'm sure I read somewhere that Tesla has a new battery which it uses now in it's new models and plans to retrofit existing ev's. That space is moving quickly.
