Casino's are always indicative of the wider gambling industry it's because they are on a broader scale, therefore changes in revenue are usually more pronounced. But if you think in economic downturns when people have LESS money to spend that they will keep gambling you keep your head in the sand.
Remember but, gambling is a recreational activity not a necessity.
