    Yes Agreed they do-
Copper ,which the chart was comparing to Lithium, is an established metal in use for thousands of years and has variety of applications in industry especially the Electricity Industry and which is equally as large as the other base metals like Iron and Aluminium. Lithium/Nickel/Cobalt and the so called Rare Earths on the other hand, have relatively low number of applications in industry with relatively small amounts needed compared to base metals and are newcomers needing time to improve their potential. Lets not forget that EV's and Battery Storage have just started their journey. Given time, unless a hitherto undiscovered technology disrupts Lithium Ion my guess is Li will consolidate its place in industry/technology and will extend future availability of fossil fuels by working side by side with fossil fuels for power generation and replacing ICE engines into the future making the world a quieter and cleaner place to be,- if not save us from climate change too. I suppose time will tell.
