Very enlightening @hoots , in my personal belief Copper never had to fight the Oil companies (and associated cartels) like Lithium does because it doesn't pose a threat to them. Of course other factors such as the global economy plays a part too but overall there is an enormous amount of money tied up in fossil fuel and associated industries that Lithium aims to disrupt.  So therefore there is a greater reactive force on Lithium to progress normally like any other metal (such as copper) which doesn't disrupt these industries. Long term , it is my belief Lithium will come into its own but it will only happen when the oil industry realises that it is not under threat and needs to be part of the Lithium boom as well. Just a thought .
P.S- By the way I am in awe of your knowledge of Charting and respect your contribution to our chart pages thoroughly.
