I saw Alan Kohler on the news a couple of nights ago with yet another of his graphs.
This one measured the volatility index since 1066. He said volatility was actually lower than it had been for years but that it seems to come in 5 year waves.
Was news to me. I am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.
I am getting 20 price alerts a day on commsec from measuring pip changes on shares I can't even remember why I am following. It's so bad now I had to buy an extension cord to keep my phone charged!
Anyway, after I get one of those 20 alerts I usually pop onto HC to see what insights the bretheran have to offer.
This thread was by far the funniest I have seen in ages! Keep up the good work.
Hopefully results today or as I used to ask my dad: "Are we there yet"?
