"For large MC companies with the funds to develop them into good prodcing areas. Not an Australian nano cap with a few million built on a long history of surviving from one CR to the next and selling promises like the pipe dream of a self funding ten well programme."
No arguments from me Katoom. See thats just where so many were told something and the absolute exact opposite occurred ! If a CEO comes out and tells his share holders that the company is in a position to drill a hand full of wells and then when the first well produces an impressive 379bbls/24 IP then, what are we suppose to believe/do ? In hindsight we should have run for the hills, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
1)"For large MC companies with the funds to develop them into good prodcing areas.
That is so true but because we were told for many month's to expect a JV partner to join the project ( with the potential partner having full knowledge of the legal issues ?? SH's were never told that the legals were an impediment to the coy moving forward back then ) and in one ann it was to happen within a matter of weeks. GGP were never in a position to be able to keep up with or, above the decline curve of these SRH PB wells but we were told we could with that JV partner who were going to bring in the big cash in order to keep the drill bit turning.
2) Not an Australian nano cap with a few million built on a long history of surviving from one CR to the next and selling promises like the pipe dream of a self funding ten well programme."
Every "nano cap" has to start somewhere Katoom and I got sucked in to the story of GGP being one that starts as a nano cap and ends up on its own two feet building a profitable company. The sales pitch of the "Ten well programme" which was preceded by the two well programme ( some may not remember that one ? ) and then of course the 100+ wells to be drilled ( and yes that 100+ wells to be drilled should have rung bells to me and others ) was a sales pitch way way too good to be true, as history turns out.
Akrotiri;
good question, just what has the captain of the ship been up to ? With this thing all but below the surface, is it as easy as having nothing to answer because there are personal problems in his life ? Welcome to the club Mr Graves. Maybe he should be sat down and told about some of the personal hardships that this company has brought on to its long trusting ( naive ) share holders. No I'm not blowing this out to make it sound hysterical! If nothing comes of the IG action ? at the very least, surely putting questions, and many of them to Mr Graves is what all shareholders are entitled to ? Now that he has walked, just who is he answerable to ? Seriously, just who is he answerable to ? Thats why I fully support the IG and their quest to find out exactly what has happened and in my book, asking questions is very reasonable.
Eagles;
"You have me all wrong. I've always been a poster for the people, I'm here to help and answer questions where I can."
you sure have a weird way of showing your helpful spirit.
"I was just taking a guess at where she's at? Maybe you would be better at answering the question than me?"
Maybe Eagles it's none of your business, none of my business or anyone elses here.I don't know 67shelby and have never met her.We have had some email conversations regarding this coy's actions and thats the extent of my contact with her. 67shelby's business is not on my radar. Personally I think it's best if people are left to sort out whats best for themselves without being poked and prodded by the likes of yourself.
There has been more than enough damage and hurt caused by this company to many. HC posters certainly don't need to stick the knife in any deeper.
Enough is enough Eagles, just let it slide hey ?
