    I observe a strong groundswell of opinion that the fund should be wound up.

    As a now relatively significant shareholder I would support the motion, but barring the motion being put, I am also happy to hold for the 18 or so months that many here see as an eternity away.

    In either even, the SP and NTA value would most likely (but not certainly) be much closer to each other at or around $1.20.

    To respond to peejay2, should the price recover to $1.20 (NTA) in 18 months, a rational investor could only consider that to be a 13.33% return on investment. To consider it to be a 3 year investment return of zero, appears to me to be the view that could only reflect that of a unskilled investor suffering from both inertia and resentment that their original investment did not work. Those problems of course will not be remedied by ALF or any other stock. I am sorry, I must be a realist. Some people make poor decisions and then transfer the blame onto others. It's a pretty common tale of many over the centuries.
