    Re: My original question at the start of the thread, AOK's wording is rather ambiguous.

    On March 19th 2013, AOK announce their latest reserve report:
    1P Reserves = 7.6 mmboe.
    PV10% Future Net revenues = $198 million


    "PV10% Future Net revenues" does not make it clear if it is PV or NPV. Some clarity can be gained by comparing the information with previosu presentaions. The July 2012 presentation shows 1P reserves of approx 4 million BOE, and an NPV of $96.7 Million.

    The March 2013 announcement approximately doubles rserves and lists PV10% Future Net revenues = $198 million. It would be reasonable to assume that this is AOK's rather ambiguous way of stating NPV. While the oil and gas pricing is slightly differenet for AOK and RFE's NPV calculations, its a fairly close apples and apples comparisson.

    Something to think about if you won both stocks !!!
