The current bags will be replaced with thicker, more dangerous bags that don't break down. In Tasmania they stopped using the thin bags and plastic pollution from thick plastic got worse. Fast food, plastic bottles, straws and the plastic tops on coffee cups, slurpees etc are a bigger problem.
