Hi all, I was very interested in the points jferraz threw up so I thought I'd ask some of those mentioned to Arvind. Surprisingly, I had a reply within minutes. Anyway, here is a cut and paste of some of my email with Arvind.

Below are some points I would like answered please:
?Do we still have any avenues to appeal the decision that went against us with respect to who pays the duties with HCL?
We challenged arbitrators decision in the Kolkata High Court. Judge has finished all the hearing. We are awaiting judgement.

?What if anything looks likely to eventuate with the Binani Zinc joint venture?
Binani signed a MoU with IRL which did not eventuate in a definitive document. IRL is pursuing on its own the grant of the lease.

?Are there any follow on orders for the Ceramic filter contract?
None. Chinese have made no progress.

?At what stage is our bid with HCLs Kendadih deposit (is this what IRL is bidding together with Kopex for)?
Previous bid was cancelled. Yes Kendadih is one of the new jobs advertised.

?Is Biharinath a lost cause and come June will it be written off?
No. We have secured extension of commercial terms with owners. As soon as they get the block we will try and work with them.

?How much longer do we have to wait for the Prism contract? We were under the impression that Prism had obtained most clearances and awarding was just a formality.
We will update the market when we can.
