That's a cool saying iron bark - has many meanings and applies to many things in life. And your last sentence is spot on.
Anyway, here's hoping HDY can extricate itself from this mess, is not de-listed, and there are maybe even some changes beneficial to shareholders.
Darren, steel yourself for the worst - de-listing - but it's not a certainty yet. Also, even if HDY is de-listed, I'm not sure shareholders have instantly lost all their money. Would they not then have shares in a private, unlisted company? What value those shares would have (if any) and whether they could be sold at any point is a different story. Also, did someone mention earlier a potential alternative listing?
I don't hold shares and actually own the options only, so who knows what will happen with them. If the options are de-listed too, perhaps optionholders will actually own nothing.
Anyone know with certainty what the status quo is for shares/options if HDY is de-listed?
