I sold my New Standard sometime around Oct/Nov at 12c for a 70% loss .
I had originally invested in a company which was exploring Australian frontiers and was disgusted when they switched focus to the U.S. and even more disgusted when I found out what sort of acreage they had bought . Would have been OK if they had of bought shallow prospects like Empire Energy Group .
The only thing they have got going for them is Cooper Basin acreage .
Quite agree about directors . Which other industry could the price halve and be magnified by operational gearing without the directors and certainly senior employees cutting their income ?
