Apple could do this maybe put out a kids watch but I am not worried about the idea of Apple voluntarily getting into censorship of their own products and what some would call spying on kids.

Years ago Jobs gave an interview which included Apple’s manufacturing philosophy and why Apple did not release niche versions of its big sellers. It was all about big manufacturing runs and costs. The Apple executive then in charge of manufacturing,among other things, was Cooke.

My daughter loves her Spacetalk and when she grows up she will want an Apple watch because that to her is a real watch.

Apple releasing a kids kids smart watch would undermine the status of Apple smart watches.

There will be plenty of competition but my
guess is it won’t be from the top smart watch makers.
