You would have read of the environment concerns and community reaction.....as a result of potential production facilities being established in Tanon Straight.

They are using extended reach technology....it would seem logical to establish production facilities on the mainland.....which is just 3 kms from where the exploration took place anyway. (avoids the need for a platform in the fishing waters ). NOTE: this is my comment only - and not suggested elsewhere, that I can find

GGX block includes the mainland and about 1 km of offshore waters.....in a direct line to the current exploration point.
