For what it is worth, (and I have not researched this) I think worthy pressure may come from the anti corruption units at the World Bank and IMF. I believe they both have programmes in the Philippines. I have had experience of them withholding drawdowns of credit when they suspect corruption. This occurred in the DRC. While investors may get some traction, the main complaint should come from EWC. Consider that creating a good investment environment is a key objective for their involvement, and the issues faced by EWC is the polar opposite.
