Philippines LNG issues, page-21

Hi Slipshot,

It certainly is hot patato stuff.

Again this morning DOE boss (Cusi) is talking about the "first" LNG facility (Batangas proposed LNG terminal) in the Philippines is likely to be approved by them by the end of this year!!!! what are EWC building a lolly factory!!

I have sent an email off this morning to the Australia Trade Commission in Manila asking them if they are aware of the situation with EWC's delaying problems caused by the DOE and other government agencies. (Unfortunately it's a public holiday there today)

Looking forward to their response.

However, I have had some feedback from a journo in the Philippines and he made the statement that EWC's LNG/Power project was an excellent project and one the Philippines needed.
