most of that price action happened in the last minute of close. Stupid me was up watching it. Up until that point the lse price just moved to match the asx price (as did 88e, just in the opposite direction).
My thought is it was nervous retail holders dumping last minute trying to get the best price they could. Maybe tey were expecting fomo to kick in before the weekend.
