Public holidays are a curse especially when one employer in Camberwell who shall remain nameless would pay his staff by cheque at Christmas and it would take 13 days to clear those pay cheques after banking the next day because he would pay them after lunch so they could not bank on that business day.

He is also related to the owner of pharmacy group which went under because SIG decided to tighten credit terms a few years back. So pharmacies do go broke even when they are in prime positions but the Pharmacy Guild could not have counted this group in the 1700 it claims are now under stress unless they too have bad gambling habits.
