It’s interesting how elegantly the chart describes the background story I have just been learning about .
Ex CEO and chairman, Malcolm Bundey was blamed by ShareCafe as an “obvious casualty” of poor performance .
“Pact Group CEO, Malcolm Bundey is leaving the company immediately, an obvious casualty of the company’s poor 2017-18 report and market thumbs down.https://www.sharecafe.com.au/2018/09/11/pain-for-pact-shares-as-ceo-malcolm-bundey-resigns/
But he was highly regarded in June 2018 in the June 6, 2018 ‘The Inner Chief” podcast by Greg Layton.

“ABOUT MAL
Malcolm Bundey is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pact. Prior to joining Pact, Malcolm held several senior executive leadership positions for the Graeme Hart owned Rank Group. He was most recently President & CEO of both Graham Packaging and Closure Systems International (CSI), a combined US$4.8bn global rigid packaging, closures & equipment company owned by The Rank Group.
Mal was previously a Partner at Deloitte in Corporate Restructuring and Management Consulting, spanning over 16 years from 1987 to 2003.”
While no new CEO has yet been announced it is possible long term Pact director, Peter Margin, will soon be bringing more time and energy to Pact.
Peter resigned from his very long term directorship at Bega three days ago saying it was because of the pressure of work :
The “decision to resign is simply predicated on the need to reduce my workload given that I have significant executive and non-executive responsibilities in the roles that I currently hold.” He said https://hotcopper.com.au/documentdownload?id=uOMxKKzFkiWRTLKhOROKAxjvSTYP4we8wBKZovB4ke92GA==
Peter has been a Director since November 2013 - before the company was listed https://pactgroup.com.au/investor/leadership/board-of-directors/
Also a director of Nu Farm and Costa Group.
“Background: Member of the Board since 26 November 2013.
Chairman of the Audit, Business Risk and Compliance Committee Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Peter has many years of leadership experience in major Australian and international food companies. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Asahi Beverages ANZ and previously was Chief Executive Officer of Goodman Fielder Limited.
Prior to that Peter was Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of National Foods Limited. Peter has also held senior management roles in Simplot Australia Limited, Pacific Brands Limited (formerly known as Pacific Dunlop Limited), East Asiatic Company and HJ Heinz Company Australia Limited.”
